Founded in 2012, we make apps that help people learn, practice and perform music. These include Guitar Master and Bass Toolkit, the powerful insTuner, and a group of tools for the world’s Ukulele players. Our Pro Metronome was recently feature in Apple’s WWDC 2014 showcase – all together our tools have been downloaded over 5.3 million times.
Everyone who works for EUMLab is a musician themselves and we believe that music is the universal language of humankind.
We are based in beautiful Hangzhou, China and exciting Berlin, Germany.
You can download our company press kit here.
We prepared a full range of screenshots, icons, lifestyle photos and review guides for you.
We’re always interested to know what you’ve written about either of our apps, so please do let us know.

Developers -- and the iOS apps they create -- have changed the way we all interact, learn, entertain, work, and live. Here's a little thank you note to developers, written by people who can't live without their apps.
This app definitely seems to offer everything you’ll need to expedite the learning process in the early stages. This includes everything from chord diagrams and progressions to a tuner, metronome, and a collection of more than a hundred scales from around the world. There is nothing negative to say about this app.
DAW Control certainly provides everything you need for mixing from the couch. Its faders are large enough and sensitive enough for fine adjustments to levels as well as plug-in parameters. And at the price, it's a good way to find out whether you like iPad mixing.
There's also a huge library of chords available that I use all the time. It's laid out cleanly and lets you see each chord's finger positions and hear what it should sound like. Finally, you can set the app to follow tenor, soprano or baritone tuning, to mach the type of uke you have. As I said, I've been using this app for a long time and I love it. It's definitely worth buying.
Head over to the app store and grab the free version of this metronome. There are many on the market but this is one of the best we have seen. For a modest upgrade fee you end up with one of the most versatile metronomes on the market for a tiny fraction of the cost of an equally equipped mechanical metronome. Phones and tablets are turning the musical gadget market on its head, and it looks like we all come out ahead in the end!
Pro Metronome includes 7 different metronome tones and has dynamic accent settings. You can tap to calculate the BPM, and can keep it running in the background while using other apps. This free version is ad-free but offers an upgrade for extra features including flashing lights, colour mode, vibrate mode and subdivisions of the beat.
Even this free version can provide you with more tuning power than almost all other guitar tuning apps out there, though no guitar app in the world can possibly hope to provide the variety and sheer tuning weight of the full version of Instuner. Of course we should try to never let your guitar go out of tune again, but if it does, you can guarantee that Instuner is the best tool to get it sounding sweet again.
As it turns out, I'm switching iOS tuners. insTuner is a fantastically pleasing tuner to use. Not only is it extremely accurate, it just looks fantastic. ... In short, this is a fantastic tuner for any iOS device, supporting landscape and portrait mode. It looks as good as it works.
The app is a must have for any instrumentalists. As a professional musician who takes gigs I use this app on a weekly basis for both myself and my classroom at the middle school level. Students love being able to SEE their tuning at the beginning of the period each day and the app makes available the opportunity to do fun games during "tuning challenges". I highly recommend this be the app you use as a tuner.
Click, click, click. The tap of a metronome is many people’s worst nightmare, showing the honest truth of where your timing stands. As challenging as it can be, working with a metronome does wonders for your timing, so it should be used for what it is – a tool.
Another app, my favorite, is Pro Metronome. Definitely the best GUI in a metronome app that I’ve seen, it is also one of the most feature rich. It has a tap tempo and a very smooth wheel for changing the tempo. It also has lots of different time signatures in case you want to play in something other than 4/4. It has 7 different tones, and a silent tone that may be useful if you want it to shut up but still visually see it cycling through. You can also change the accents on each beat. Default has the first beat accented and the rest normal but by tapping on them you can change them however you want.
